Hey there! Glad you've checked in to our new blog. In fact, this is our first ever post! You may even be our first reader? Should there be a prize for that?
Anyway, we call our blog "We Take it Personal" because it speaks to our team's approach to personal financial management and long-term financial planning. If we aren't making each planning session a personalized experience for our clients and offering personally tailored advice, then we really don't feel like we are doing them much good at all!
Dealing with many clients and prospects over the years, I've don't think I ever once looked at someone at the end of a meeting and said, "I encountered your exact circumstances and concerns last week and we can just do for you exactly what we did for that client!" No, like our fingerprints, each of us is so unique! Our needs, wants, budget, and time frame are all different and deserve specific and unique attention. Does this create more work on our end? Absolutely! But if it also results in clients who stay with us for the long term because they believe we've truly built a plan that makes sense for them, that's a return for us that more than justifies our investment in the relationship.
We believe it is because of this type of relationship with our clients that the vast majority of our new clients come from referrals. That is something we take a lot of pride in. There's no better compliment of the services you've provided to someone than them referring you to someone they know and/or love. It is so humbling for us to know we've earned that sort of confidence from a client and motivates us to continue to implement new levels of personalized service. So THANK YOU to all of you who've passed along a family member or colleague or friend along the way. We appreciate the heck out of you!
